Procedures We Offer:

Regenerative Medicine

Stem cell therapy is rapidly gaining attention in the medical community for its ability to treat neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain. Far from experimental, amniotic stem cell therapy is a safe, FDA-approved form of treatment that offers injured patients a nonsurgical option for pain relief. Amniotic fluid contains various growth factors that help tissue to heal and regenerate.

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is concentrated from your own blood which contains healing factors, such as white blood cells and bioactive proteins, called growth factors and stem cell markers. These cells are vital for tissue regeneration and repair. Platelets, once thought of being responsible for only clotting, have been scientifically proven to be a reservoir of these vital healing components. With advanced techniques we are able to concentrate these regenerative healing cells in a simple outpatient setting.

Epidural Steroid Injections

Epidural steroid injections (ESIs) deliver anti-inflammatory corticosteroids directly into the space around your spinal nerves to reduce inflammation and relieve pain. They are commonly used to treat sciatica, herniated discs, and spinal stenosis in the neck or lower back when physical therapy and oral medications fail.

Facet Injections

A facet injection (or facet joint block) is a minimally invasive procedure where a doctor injects a numbing medicine and a corticosteroid directly into or near a facet joint in the spine. These small joints connect your vertebrae, providing stability and allowing you to twist, turn, and bend. When they become inflamed due to arthritis, injury, or aging, they can cause chronic neck or back pain.

SI Joint Injections

A sacroiliac (SI) joint injection is a minimally invasive outpatient procedure used to either diagnose or treat lower back, buttock, or hip pain stemming from inflammation or dysfunction in the SI joints. These paired joints connect the base of your spine (sacrum) to your hip bones (ilium) and act as vital shock absorbers for the upper body.

An SI joint injection targets the sacroiliac joint (the spot connecting your lower spine to your pelvis). Doctors use it to find the source of lower back or buttock pain and to treat it with medication. It provides targeted relief by delivering strong anti-inflammatory medicine right into the joint.

Large Joint Injections

Large joint injections provide a highly effective, non-surgical treatment for localized pain and inflammation in the knees, shoulders, hips, and elbows. Performed using advanced guidance techniques to ensure optimal precision, this minimally invasive procedure delivers therapeutic medication directly into the joint space. By rapidly reducing swelling and relieving chronic friction, it helps restore fluid, pain-free mobility so patients can comfortably return to their everyday routines.

Occipital Nerve Block

The greater and lesser occipital nerves are located in the back of the head. Headaches and neck pain can be caused by inflamed or injured occipital nerves. A mixture of a local anesthetic and steroid are injected near the GON and/or LON with ultrasound guidance. This procedure will reduce the occipital nerve swelling and pain.

Trigger Point Injections

A trigger point is a tight knot or band of muscle that forms when the muscle will not relax and causes pain. An injection into this area of muscle will help relax and relieve the pain. Some people experience immediate pain relief after the injections, while others find that several days or weeks can pass before their pain improves.

Cortisone vs. PRP: Choosing the Right Treatment for Your Recovery

When managing joint, tendon, or spinal pain, finding the right non-surgical treatment is essential for long-term success. We offer advanced localized treatments, including Cortisone Injections and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy. While both target painful areas, they work through entirely different biological mechanisms. Additionally, we offer advanced Autologous Stem Cell Injections for certain conditions, utilizing your body’s own cellular components to support targeted recovery.

Epidural Steroid Injections

Patients that have tried conservative care and continue to have persistent pain may be a candidate for epidural steroid injections. During this procedure a needle will be placed into the epidural space of the spine with fluoroscopic (x-ray) guidance. An anti-inflammatory medication is injected to reduce the inflammation around the spinal nerve roots. It can be performed as a single injection or as a series of up to three, depending on the patient’s response.

SI Joint Injections

The sacroiliac joints (SI) are paired structures, found on each side of the sacrum that connect the spine and pelvis. A sacroiliac joint injection is a shot of anti-inflammatory medication and an anesthetic into the SI joint capsule with fluoroscopic (x-ray) guidance. The goal of the procedure is to improve spine motion and relieve pain.

Facet Injections

Facet injections offer a highly targeted, non-surgical solution for chronic neck and back pain caused by spinal arthritis or joint injury. Performed under precise image guidance, this minimally invasive procedure delivers powerful anti-inflammatory and numbing agents directly into the small joints of the spine. By rapidly reducing localized swelling and blocking pain pathways, facet injections provide the lasting relief needed to restore spinal mobility and comfortably return to daily activities.

Cortisone Injections

Cortisone injections reduce pain and improve range of motion in affected joints. A local anesthetic and corticosteroid (anti-inflammatory medicine) is injected into the shoulder, knee, ankle, elbow or hip. The doctor will use fluoroscopy (x-ray imaging) to guide the needle into the proper position.
